What do you want to be when you grow up? There were few words I dreaded more. According to my third grade autobiography, I was going to be a flight attendant, a teacher, a hair stylist, and a mom. A clear path was never in sight for me. There is, however, one thing I always thought I’d be…..happy.
Naive, right? Life has thrown it’s fair share of curve balls my direction landing me on a path of marriage struggles, miscarriage, discontentment and more. Can you relate? You’re not alone friend! But through the hard times, I’m learning to find the joy in the little. There’s hope and happiness despite the little people who make you want to hide in the closet with a pile of Dove Dark Chocolates, despite little money in the bank account, and the little frustrations of life.
“But he Said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weakness, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then I am content with weaknessess, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
